My name is Iris Henander-Harris and I'm a senior at Ronald Reagan. Traveling has been the biggest aspect of my life. I lived in Adelaide, Australia when I was younger and since then have traveled to other countries such as China, South Korea, France, Italy, and Ireland. The unknown of what lies overseas is one of the most thrilling feelings. Art and history have always been a passion of mine. Ever since I was a young child, I was inspired by the Surrealism and Expressionism art movement. Taking a pen and drawing what I feel on a piece of notebook paper with no true meaning behind it. I believe art doesn't need a meaning. Identity and stigma are two topics that I plan on pursuing in art, through emotion and body language. |
